Malta (Europe) TDI. golf 2000 Flash Red. Jul 30, 2009. #14. 230HP cost me Eur7,500 worth of engine internals. and that's not including turbo, mapping, labour and many more things. Then you need to work on the brakes and suspension. It's a long expensive road, but all worth it in the end.

1-Step Colder MK6 GLI Spark Plugs. DIY Difficulty: Easy. 2. Water pump failure. Another very common problem in most Volkswagenâs and Audiâs is premature water pump failure. Then you have a BEW engine from 04-06 and a BRM engine from 05 - 06. Then in 09 came the common rail engine CBEA. And I am NOT counting the few 2.0L tdi's put in the Passat for a couple years I think 04 and 05. Find what body you want (Golf, wagon, sedan, bug) And which generation body you like and see what is near you.
VW Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Test (5 Wire Type) The most common way to test the 5 wire VW Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is just to unplug it with the engine running. If the MAF is bad (either because it's not producing a signal or producing an erratic one), the car's idle will return to normal and the car will seem to run fine.
This is going to be a little long, but bare with me! Just trying to be detailed, as I have tried various things to find and resolve the problem. No luck yet! I have 2012 VW Passat TDI. There are 4700 miles on it. I do not have the warranty on the car, as it was purchased at an auction. Problem is: The car has been loosing coolant since I've had it.

Hope everyone's cool. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue or can help me out with it. I've got a MK5 Golf - 1.9 TDI 2005. BKC engine. About 6 weeks ago the car had issues starting. The first time it had an issue was a long start with the battery and starter cranking but no start. It worked eventually and no issues after that.
